How do I know when my pen is out of medication?

Each Wegovy or Mounjaro pen is designed to deliver a single pre-set dose. Once the pen has been used, it cannot be reused — even if some medication appears to remain inside.

You’ll know your pen is finished if:

• The dose counter stops before reaching 0 when you press the dose button.
• You cannot deliver your full prescribed dose.

If this happens before completing your expected number of doses (e.g., four doses for a four-week supply), it may indicate that the pen is faulty or that the dose was not fully delivered.

Important:

• Never try to use the pen again once the dose has been given.
• Never attempt to "top up" a missed or partial dose.
