We have validated our packaging and transport processes to ensure that your medication remains within the correct temperature range (2–8°C) for at least 48 hours, following General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards.
If your delivery was delayed beyond 48 hours
- Your medication is still safe to use.
- A stability window starts once the medication first exceeds 8°C:
- Wegovy: can be used for up to 6 weeks from this point.
- Mounjaro: can be used for up to 28 days from this point.
- This window should fully cover your treatment schedule.
You can continue using your medication as long as it falls within these timelines.
When to be cautious
Before using your medication:
- Inspect the solution inside the pen.
- It should be clear, colourless, and free from particles.
- If the solution appears cloudy, discoloured, or different from your previous pens, do not use it.
If you are unsure, please submit a request and attach a photo of your medication. Our Care Team will review it and advise you accordingly.
Storage after opening
Once you have opened or first used your pen:
- Wegovy: Can be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 6 weeks.
- Mounjaro: Can be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 28 days.
