How to manage headaches?

Unfortunately, headaches may occur as you begin your treatment plan, but they should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. There are a number of reasons why you may experience headaches, including dehydration, stress, reduced food intake or low blood sugar, and changes in sleep patterns, among others.

Here's what you can try:

  1. Increase your water intake
Aim to drink over 2.5 litres of water per day.
  2. Eat adequately
Ensure you're eating enough to meet your daily energy needs.
Consider having smaller meals more frequently.
  3. Pain relief
    Take pain relief when needed.
Start with paracetamol, as aspirin or ibuprofen can be harsh on the stomach.

If your headache or migraine doesn't improve with the above suggestions, our Care Team can offer personalised advice for your situation to help you manage the side effects more effectively. Please feel free to submit a request to reach them.
